You'll be responsible for:

  •  Review and draft compliance-related policies and procedures, reports, analyses, and internal guidelines
  • Act as the key expert in all applicable regulatory and technical compliance areas, including Responsible Gambling, AML, Advertising, Information Technology and Data and Consumer protection
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with all relevant regulatory and technical compliance requirements, licence conditions and certifications
  • Conduct periodic internal reviews and audits to test ongoing compliance
  • Review business practices, policies and procedures and conduct gap analyses from a compliance point of view
  • Raise awareness and foster a compliance culture within all teams across the group
  • Draw up and deliver compliance training programs to relevant internal teams and stakeholders
  • Keep abreast with regulatory developments, all applicable requirements, guidelines and industry standards
  • Act as a compliance point of contact in regulatory audits and any other compliance related matters and projects, including preparing and managing external audits, identifying vulnerabilities, as well as analysing and reporting their findings to all relevant stakeholders and authorities, along with defining remediation measures
  • Liaise and work closely with any regulator and any other relevant body, consultants, external advisors and other stakeholders, including drafting and submitting regular periodic and ad hoc reports and notifications of key events as required
  • Support all relevant business units with informed licensing and compliance advice relating to the markets of interest including interpretation of regulatory requirements into the system and technical implementation
  • Support the Operational Compliance teams to ensure that all day-to-day tasks, processes procedures and in practice implementations are compliant
  • Advise on the impact of regulations and required actions from a regulatory and technical compliance perspective
  • Support the relevant teams in delivering projects by providing input and guidance on regulatory and technical compliance aspects
  • Assist with the identification and mitigation of compliance risks and exposure
  • Draft reports and carry out presentations to the senior management
  • Assist with any additional tasks according to the business needs

Job requirements

You’ll need to have:


  • Degree in a relevant field from a recognized university in a EU member state
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a compliance role within the iGaming industry with a proven track record of system and compliance audit involvement and of work interactions with regulatory bodies in European jurisdictions. Experience with compliance in online gaming in the Ontario and US markets will be considered a plus
  • Prior experience working as a compliance auditor with a regulator or with a systems and compliance auditing firm will be considered an asset
  • Expertise in relation to the technical implementation of regulatory compliance requirements
  • Solid understanding of gaming regulations and licensing and compliance requirements and frameworks
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is a must, with any additional languages considered a plus
  • Strong ability to organize and prioritize workload whilst meeting tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical thinking and having an eye for detail
  • Proactive and self-motivated with an ability to work on own initiative and under minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work both alone and in a team
  • Conversant with the document, player account management and project management software, systems and tools
