High Roller is powered by HappyHour.io, a seed and early-stage accelerator within the iGaming industry. Working with brilliant people on novel ideas, happy hour helps shape them and grow them, into meaningful stories at an epic scale.
You'll be responsible for:
Lead the design and development of the company's frontend architecture, ensuring it aligns with business and technical requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and engineering, to drive the implementation of new features and functionality.
Uplevel front-end expertise and promote technical best practices through coaching and mentoring engineers across the entire initiative.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in frontend technology and apply them to the company's architecture.
Ensure the frontend architecture is robust, scalable, and secure.
Provide technical leadership and direction on frontend architecture and development best practices.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the codebase through refactoring and the implementation of new design patterns and approach.
You'll need to have:
Expertise in React (applications and component libraries) and Next.js.
Expertise working with state management (Redux, mobx, etc.).
Strong knowledge and experience in REST, GraphQL, and API best practices.
Strong knowledge in CMSs (Directus, Strapi, Contentful, etc.).
A proven track record in leading the development of frontend architectures for large projects, ensuring maintainability, performance, and accessibility for engineers of all skill levels.
Excellent communication abilities, capable of effectively communicating technical concepts to a diverse audience of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A strong understanding of design principles and user experience design.
Skilled in responsive web design, able to create websites and applications that are optimized for a range of devices and screen sizes.
Advanced debugging skills, able to effectively identify and resolve complex issues in the frontend codebase.
