QA Lead

  • Remote
    • New York, New York, United States

Job description

High Roller Technologies is expanding into the rapidly evolving regulated prediction markets space — a major new growth area for the business. We’re building a consumer-facing prediction markets platform for the US market and are looking for talented people to join us as we build and scale the product.

We are looking for a QA Lead to take ownership of quality assurance across our prediction markets platform. This is a hands-on role. You will be responsible for testing new features and releases while also establishing the QA processes and standards needed as the product and team grow. Working closely with Product and Engineering, you will help ensure issues are identified before they reach customers and that key customer journeys work reliably from end to end.

Job requirements

  • Own and develop the QA approach and processes across the ROLR prediction markets platform.

  • Test new product features against agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.

  • Create and execute clear test plans, test cases and testing scenarios.

  • Perform functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing.

  • Test key customer journeys including account registration, verification, funding, market discovery, placing trades, viewing positions, settlement and withdrawals.

  • Test different user, account and transaction scenarios, including error states and edge cases.

  • Identify, document and track bugs through to resolution.

  • Clearly reproduce and communicate issues to Product and Engineering.

  • Re-test fixes and ensure resolved issues do not create problems elsewhere in the product.

  • Work closely with the Product Owner to identify gaps and ensure requirements are testable.

  • Support testing of integrations and end-to-end customer journeys where required.

  • Own regression testing and QA readiness ahead of releases.

  • Highlight outstanding issues and product risks before release.

  • Build and maintain QA documentation and regression suites.

  • Support investigation and testing of issues identified in production.

  • Help shape how the QA function develops as the product and team grow.

You’ll Need To

  • Have previous experience in QA, software testing or a similar role, with experience taking ownership of QA activities.

  • Have experience testing web-based digital products.

  • Have a strong understanding of functional, regression and end-to-end testing.

  • Have experience creating test plans and test cases and documenting defects clearly.

  • Have strong attention to detail and an ability to identify scenarios others may overlook.

  • Be comfortable working closely with Product and Engineering teams.

  • Have strong problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Be able to work independently and take ownership of product quality.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in fintech, trading, payments, gaming or another transaction-based digital product.

  • Experience testing products involving financial transactions or real-time data.

What We Offer

  • Competitive health and welfare benefits

  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match

  • Flexible vacation policy

  • Home office setup reimbursement

  • Team events and get-togethers
